Monkey Slots - Illegal Slot Machine Craze

Massachusetts has been toying around with the idea of legalizing slot machines, but nothing official has been proclaimed as of yet. However there seems to be a group of restaurant owners who have seemed to take the consideration of slot machines as actually condoning the operation of slot machines. This assumption turns out to not work in their favor as police confiscated the machines and then proceeded to suspend the establishments’ license to sell lottery tickets.

Four different locations were caught with slot machines and then punished in three different counties, a total of thirty eight slot machines were found in all. Some of the machines held up to ten thousand dollars in cash while other were completely empty, which at least bettor supports some of the bar owner’s plea that the slot machine were simply being use for recreational purposes. Home owners in Arkansas gave a similar plea when police found seventeen slot machines with in the small four room structure.

Even the kitchen had two slot machines inside of it in order to cram all seventeen with in it’s small frame. After investigations the authorities determined that the gambling ring had been in operation for at least three months at this specific location. But they have now been tipped off to other locations that are also possessing and operating illegal slot machines which will be next on their agenda of seizers.
