Monkey Slots - Bally Awarded Best Slot Machines Honors

If you have visited some of the newer casino resorts in Las Vegas lately, you likely have seen just how modern the slot machines are these days.  Looking more like computer mainframes, the slots of today make the entire process of depositing coins or tickets, spinning the reels, and withdrawing funds easier than ever.

One company highly responsible for these new innovations is Alliance Gaming.  Widely known for their subsidiary company, Bally Gaming Sytems, Alliance has been in the business of helping casinos run smoothly and efficiently for many years.   As for Bally Gaming, they are responsible for much of Alliance's success, and has done very well for themselves in their own right.

At this years Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, Bally was awarded top honors for what a top panel of gaming judges believed to be the best slot machines in land-based casinos.  Known as the S9000 slot machine, these are one of Bally's latest innovations that many of the top casinos in Vegas are already using.  The official award at the Gaming Expo was titled "Best Slot Product" for 2005, while many other awards were handed out for similar gaming categories.

Bally also took home awards for their Progressive Bonus Technology and the M9000-32 video poker machine.  This one is most definitely a keeper, for even those who came across the machine at the Expo for the fist time had nothing but great things to say about it.

Now that third quarter earnings have come in, it looks like Bally and Alliance are at the top of their game, and are continuing to develop what will be, once again, the best in land-based technology for 2006.
